Thank You 2022
In this final issue of 2022, I wanted to thank you for being a supporter and helping Data Beats find its groove and grow to 1500 subscribers! 🙌
But growth isn’t just about numbers. I hope that each one of you experienced growth in your personal and professional endeavors and that 2023 is no different.
I’m just glad that I decided to combine my love for music and passion for data to create something I enjoy working on — where creation is not just the means but also the end.
I’m also very optimistic about the coming year because it’s a great time to embrace the basics and build something substantial. While there’s a lot planned for Data Beats, I’m also launching something new to help companies build better relationships with their audiences — more on it in the coming weeks!
Lastly, Data Beats now has a new section called Series, making it easier to explore content and learn the fundamentals of modern data infrastructure.
If you landed here expecting a best-of-2022 roundup, well, here you go:
I’d also like to acknowledge that 2022 has been a horrible year for many people around the world. It’s sad and unfair. I tend to remind myself that things get really bad before they get better, and I sincerely hope that peace is restored sooner rather than later. 🙏
If there’s anything I can help with to make 2023 shine for you, please don’t hesitate to ask. You can reply to this email or reach out on LinkedIn — either way, I’m quick to respond.
🎸🥁 Here’s wishing you and your family a fantastic new year, full of good health, great opportunities, and of course, soulful music! 🎷🎻
I’d like to leave you with 2 things I’ve found very helpful — a quote and a playlist:
“I am happy because I am growing daily and honestly don't know where my ultimate limit lies. To be certain, every day there can be a revelation or a new discovery that I can obtain.” — Bruce Lee
This is a reminder that every day brings a new story and the best time to be happy is now. I highly recommend the book, Be Water, My Friend where Shannon Lee, Bruce Lee’s daughter, shares his teachings in simple words.
Finally, now is also the best time to wind down and reflect, and I’ve got just the playlist you need — put your headphones on and take a ride to the other side! 🎧
